An Introduction to Endermologie

Pure "vacuum therapy" has been used for many years, with no success. Endermologie is the first technique to introduce the patented combination of suction plus dual active rollers to create a symmetrical skin fold. Only the LPG family of therapeutic massagers has two rollers and an airtight chamber to comfortably roll and unroll the skin, thus treating the various layers of tissue. Suction alone does not work, and without two rollers, the skin may be pinched or bruised, showing little results.

What Is Endermologie and How Does It Work?

Endermologie is like performing gymnastics on your skin and underlying tissue - suction and motorized rollers massage your skin, thus exercising it. LPG's gentle suction mobilizes your connective tissue, and the rollers help increase circulation, facilitating fluid exchange. Endermologie closes the gap between the two forces that originally created the dimpled appearance, thus fighting the appearance of cellulite.

How Long Does Endermologie Take?

Each Endermologie treatment takes between 30 to 45 minutes. Refine Medical Spa will focus on your problem areas. 14 treatments are necessary for best results, which are usually performed at intervals of once or twice per week.

How is Endermologie Performed Exactly?

The LPG device is unique because of the patented action of the treatment head that combines gentle suction with two active rollers, creating a symmetrical skin fold. The skin is lifted by gentle suction, while the rollers treat this skin fold. Various maneuvers are applied first on the back, then on the buttocks, thighs, legs, and finally on the abdomen for a 35 minute total body treatment. Your Endermologie technician will individualize your treatment by focusing on your cellulite-ridden areas.

Are There Any Side Effects?

There is a possibility of minor, temporary bruising occurring after the Endermologie treatments, which can be minimized if Aspirin or another anti-coagulating medication is used. There may be a temporary darkening of spider veins.

Is Endermologie Right For Me?

If you are within 30 pounds of your ideal weight and want to reduce the dimpling effect of cellulite, then Endermologie is right for you. Endermologie can be used in conjunction with liposuction, but in no way is a replacement for liposuction, as it will not take away body fat. It is highly recommended that you follow a proper diet and exercise regiment before, during and after Endermologie treatments. If you are concerned with the appearance of your body due to cellulite, Endermologie can be performed regularly to create a smoother appearance. This treatment cannot be performed over large vericosities and should not be done during pregnancy.

When Will I See the Effects of My Endermologie Treatment?

You may start to see visible changes to your cellulite prone areas within just five or six sessions. A full 14 sessions will provide you with optimum results.
