BIO: Laura Johnston, Esthetician

Laura has been in the esthetics business for over 15 years and holds a strong commitment to the practice. She previously has worked extensively under a top Chicago plastic surgeon specializing in microdermabrasion, chemical peels and medical grade facials. She has been trained and certified in laser skin rejuvenation as well as laser hair removal, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. She has also mastered the multifaceted Pan-G system. Laura offers a variety of services at Refine, and she will determine which approach is best for you. Among her unique specialties is the Sonopeel, an ultra-sonic form of microdermabrasion, and dermaplaning a unique, noninvasive procedure that rids your skin or toxic build up and cellular debris by means of surgical blade.

Among Laura's favorite skin care therapies is the new Vita-Peel, a gentle, albeit highly effective chemical peel that delivers spectacular results, as seen on Extreme Makeovers! Laura attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her Bachelors in English Literature. She has contributed many articles on beauty-esthetics for popular trade journals over the years and continues to stay abreast of the industry through constant training and education. She received a degree in esthetics from SW Tech College in Fenimore, Wisconsin, along with a cosmetology degree in Madison Wisconsin.
